Wednesday 2 September               Chorleywood to Chalfont Latimer                               8 miles     Leisurely

Starts at 10:40: Chorleywood Station (WD3 5ND, TQ025960)

A walk through classic Chiltern countryside with Chess Valley views and some hills. Picnic or pub lunch at Sarratt. Drop-out option after 3 miles with bus from Sarratt. Depart Marylebone 10.12, Harrow-on-the-Hill 10.24, arrive Chorleywood 10.39.

Saturday 5 September     Great Escarpment Circular from Princes Risborough    12.5 miles  Moderate/hilly  

Starts at 10:00: Princes Risborough Railway Station (HP27 9DD, SP799027)

Hilly circular from Princes Risborough by way of Horsenden, Bledlow Ridge, Radnage with pub lunch or picnic at Bennett End. Return via Crowell Woods, Sprig's Alley, Chinnor Hill and Bledlow. Good views. Depart Marylebone 9.09, arrive Princes Risborough 9.54.

Sunday 6 September                     Eynsford Circular                                                        12 miles       Moderate

Starts at 11:00: Eynsford Railway Station (DA4 0HP, TQ535649)

A contrast betwen hidden valleys in the North Downs and the Darent Valley Path through three interesting villages. Valleys, of course mean some hills. Lunch at The Crown Otford. There are two options to shorten the walk - after lunch in Otford (5.6m) and from Shoreham (8m). These stations are further down the same line.
Depart 1012 from Blackfriars to Eynsford (train to Sevenoaks) arrive 1100.

Wednesday 9 September          Windsor to Staines via Runnymede                              10 miles     Moderate

Starts at 10:55: Windsor & Eton Riverside Station - please note there are 2 stations in Windsor so if you arrive at Central walk to Riverside. (SL4 1QL, SU968772)

Along the Thames Path with good views of the castle and Home Park to Runnymede for lunch (picnic recommended as NT tea-house is mainly good for cakes, ice-cream and drinks). Visit the memorials to JF Kennedy and Magna Carta (800th anniversary this year) and then climb Cooper’s Hill to the Commonwealth Air Forces memorial with stunning views. Return to the riverside and on to Staines with optional drink in riverside pub (The Swan). Depart Paddington 9.57, Ealing Broadway 10.05, change at Slough for the shuttle service to Windsor & Eton Central, then 10 minutes walk to Windsor & Eton Riverside station.  Alternatively, depart Waterloo 9.58, Clapham Junction 10.08 arrive 10.52 at Windsor and Eton Riverside, Mobile on the day only 07796 264 917.

Starts at 11:30: Exceat (BN20 0AZ, TV541967)

Circular walk passing through Seven Sisters, East Dean and West Dean. Lunch at East Dean (picnic or pub). Drop-out point after 4 miles. Tea at Exceat or option of walking back to Seaford and having tea on the sea-front. Depart Victoria 9.16, Clapham Junction 9.21. Change at Lewes for the 10.28 to Seaford. Wednesday 16 September          Lea Valley Walk - Tottenham Hale to Stratford             7 miles     Easy

Starts at 10:45: Tottenham Hale underground station. (N17 9FD, TQ345895)

An easy, flat walk along the Lea Valley enjoying pleasant river views by Walthamstow Marshes and the Olympic Village. Lunch around the Lea Bridge area (pub, cafe or picnic). Meet by the ticket office at Tottenham Hale station (Victoria line) at 10.45. Mobile on the day only 07751 957 380.

Saturday 19 September              Chesham to Chorleywood                                                9 miles   Moderate

Starts at 10:20: Chesham underground station (HP5 1ED, SP960015)

In the morning walking through rolling Chiltern hills. Lunch at Flaunden (pub or picnic). In the afternoon via Sarratt and the Chess Valley ending on Chorleywood Common. Depart Baker Street 9.15, arrive Chesham 10.17.

Sunday 20 September                 Canada Water to Victoria                                                 6 miles    Easy

Starts at 13:30: Canada Water underground station - meet at top of escalator. (SE16 7AR, TQ354794)

A river Thames walk to explore its ever-changing skyline. Meet Canada Water station at the top of the escalator. About three hours walking time.

Saturday 26 September                   Royston Circular                                                        11.5 miles   Moderate

Starts at 10:40: Royston Railway Station (SG8 5AG, TL353412)

Walking through fairly hilly terrain to the pretty village of Barley (picnic or pub lunch). The walk continues to Bark Way and Reed (both nice villages) and then on the Hertfordshire Way back to Royston. Depart King's Cross 9.52, arrive Royston 10.39.

Starts at 13:30: Ealing Common Underground Station (W5 3NU, TQ188803)

A three hour afternoon walk including Ealing Common, Walpole Park (lots of alterations as part of a major restoration project) Longfield Walk, Cleveland Park, Pitzhanger Park, Hanger Hill Woods. Meet Ealing Common Station 1.30, finish at North Ealing Station.
