Thursday 4 June                             Blackheath to Mile End                                              8 miles         Easy

Starts at 11:00: Blackheath Railway Station. (SE3 9LE, TQ396760)

A mainly flat and easy walk, with moderate pace, via Greenwich Park with hopefully some good views, the Thames foot tunnel and Isle of Dogs inner docks. Lunch stop at West India Quay where the (free) Museum of Docklands can be visited. Several drop-out points before finishing at Mile End Underground station.

Saturday 6 June            Grand Hambledon Circular to Turville and Fingest                 15 miles     Moderate

Starts at 10:05: Henley-on-Thames Railway Station (RG9 1BU, SU763821)

Long circular from Henley northwards exploring Hambledon valley villages, lovely views. Lunch at Turville (village featured in Vicar of Dibley series). Pub is very busy, popular and pricy so best used for drinks and advisable to bring picnic to give time to explore village. Optional hill at nearby Fingest to gain good views over valley. Return along full length of Hambledon valley (brief stop at village of Hambledon), then cross Thames at Mill End for towpath return to Henley. Depart Paddington 8.57, Ealing Broadway 9.05. Change at Twyford for 9.50 train to arrive Henley-on-Thames 10.02.

Sunday 7 June                                  Penshurst Circular                                            8 miles             Moderate

Starts at 10:45: Penshurst Railway Station. (TN33 9QP, TQ693164)

An undulating walk in the Kent countryside recrossing the Eden river. A late lunch at the National Trust village of Chiddingstone (picnic, pub or restaurant).  Depart 9.40 from Charing Cross, arrive Tonbridge 10.23, change to opposite platform (be at the front of train) as you only have a few minutes to catch the 10.36 to Penshurst, arriving 10.44. Starts at 14:30: Reedham Railway Station (CR8 4EU, TQ308607)

Leisurely walk with some hilly paths via Foxley Wood, Kenley and Riddlesdown. Depart London Bridge 13.50, arrive Reedham 14.19. Mobile on the day only 07719 193 235.

Wednesday 10 June                    Warwick Avenue to Baker Street                          5 miles             Easy

Saturday 13 June                       Heathrow Terminal 5 to Windsor                          14 miles            Moderate

Starts at 10:00: Heathrow Terminal 5, meeting near the ticket barriers.  (TW6 2GA, TQ051758)

From Terminal 5, across Stanwell Moor and Staines Moor to Staines for lunch in a riverside pub (The Swan). Then on to Egham and after visiting the J.F. Kennedy memorial, continue to Windsor via the Long Walk. Return from Windsor from either of its two stations.

Wednesday 17 June                     Guildford to Farnham                                          12 miles           Moderate

Starts at 10:25: Guildford Railway Station (GU1 4UT, SU992496)

Along the North Downs Way with one hill at the beginning but then mainly on the level. Lunch at The Good Intent at Puttenham or picnic in churchyard. Depart Waterloo 9.45, Clapham Junction 9.52, arrive Guildford 10.23.

Starts at 10:40: Denham Railway Station (UB9 5ES, TQ042877)

A leisurely walk passing through Broadwater Lake Nature Reserve, the Colne Valley Trail, Denham Country Park and Denham Village where we will stop for lunch (pubs or picnic). Continue via Higher Denham and Denham Aerodrome with possible tea stop at Denham Garden Village.  Drop out point at 5 miles. Depart Marylebone 10.16, Wembley Stadium 10.25, South Ruislip 10.32, arrive Denham 10.37. Mobile on day only 07948 603 126.

Tuesday 23 June                    Hampstead Circular via Kenwood House                   5 miles           Leisurely

Starts at 10:30: Hampstead underground station (NW3 1DL, TQ263857)

A short walk across Hampstead Heath passing the famous ponds and with good views of central London from Parliament Hill to reach Kenwood House for lunch (picnic or cafĂ©). There will be plenty of time for a guided tour of the recently refurbished house with its stunning interiors designed by Robert Adam and internationally renowned art collection (English Heritage, entrance is free). Return via the Vale of Health to Hampstead village passing many places of interest and optional drink in one of its historic pubs.  Mobile on day only 07796 264 917.

Long, undulating morning via Crazies Hill and Cockpole Green to pub or picnic lunch in Henley. Back to Shiplake via Remenham Wood and Thames Path. Briskish pace. Depart Paddington 8.57, Ealing Broadway 9.05, change at Twyford 9.43, arrive Wargrave 9.54.
