Saturday May 2                          Upper Warlingham to Woldingham. Near circular undulating route through bluebell woods and open Surrey countryside. 10-11 miles at a briskish pace. Pub or picnic lunch at Chelsham Common. Depart Victoria 9.53, Clapham Junction 9.58, East Croydon 10.11, arrive Upper Warlingham 10.23.

Travel: Use 6-zone card + single to Woldingham on return.

Sunday May 3                            Linear Tower Hill to Island Gardens.  Seven miles with lunch at Canary Wharf.  Meet at Tower Hill station 10.30.

Wednesday May 6                     Bluebell Walk.  Goring circular, 10-11 miles. Lots of woodland and hopefully bluebells.  One hill at the end.  Lunch at The Red Lion, Woodcote.  Depart Paddington 9.57, Ealing Broadway 10.05, Reading 10.53, arrive Goring & Streatley 11.06.

Saturday May 9                          Pluckley Circular.  11 miles through Kentish orchards and countryside via Egerton. Depart Charing Cross 9.40, Waterloo East 9.45, arrive Pluckley 10.49.

Monday May 11                         Azaleas in the Isabella Plantation.  About five miles along the river and through Richmond Park to see the azaleas and rhododendrons in the Isabella Plantation. Possible tea at Pembroke Lodge. Meet on the Richmond side of Richmond Bridge at 2.00.

Wednesday May 13                   Langley Circular.  Eight mile easy walk via canal towpath and parkland to Black Park.  Depart Paddington 10.57, Ealing Broadway 11.05, arrive Langley 11.22.

Wednesday May 20                   Watford to Chalfont and Latimer.   A linear walk of about 10 miles to Chalfont and Latimer with a late lunch at the Green Dragon, Flaunden. Moderate pace, no big hills.  Depart Baker Street 9.28, arrive Watford (Metropolitan line station) 10.12.

Saturday 30 May                              Rye to Hastings                                                       13 miles       Moderate        

Starts at 10:45: Rye Railway Station (TN31 7AB, TQ918205)

Stroll around historic Rye for the first 30 minutes or so taking photos etc. Then walk over fields to Winchelsea for a pub lunch at the New Inn. Continue along the Royal Military Canal then along cliff tops to Fairlight for tea and afterwards through Hastings Country Park via Ecclesbourne Resevoir. Depart Charing Cross 8.54, Waterloo East 8.57, London Bridge 9.02, change Ashford International to catch the 10.17 to Rye, arriving 10.41. Mobile on the day only 020 3286 1567.

Starts at 10:10: Midgham Railway Station (RG7 5SL, SU572666)

Nine miles via Thatcham (lunch). Canalside, undulating countryside, good views. Depart Paddington 9.30, Reading 10.02, change for the 10.12, arrive Midgham 10.09.
