Sunday March 1                                    Highgate Cemetery Walk. 6 mile circular from Highgate, including Highgate Cemetery (entrance fee) and Hampstead Heath. Lunch or picnic in Waterlow Park. Meet at Highgate station at 10.45. Mobile on the day: 07751 957 380.

Saturday March 7th                 Stonegate Circular. 9.5 miles. Gentle hills and tranquil valleys. We will aim for a brisk pace. Lunch stop is the Bear Inn at Burwash (there are two other pubs as well).  Depart London Charing Cross 10.15, arrive Stonegate 11.26.  Mobile on the day: 07913 613 002.

Sunday March 8                                    Grove Park to North Greenwich. 10/11 miles, through parks, open land and riverside in SE London.   Falconwood, Oxleas Wood and meadows (cafe lunch), Thames Barrier and Thames Path, finishing at the historic Pilot Inn at Greenwich peninsula.  Plenty of drop-out points.  Meet Grove Park Station at 10 am .    Depart Cannon Street at 9.30 am, arrive Grove Park at 9.54. Return from North Greenwich (Jubilee Line).

Wednesday March 11               Richmond to Osterley.  About 7 miles, linear along the banks of the Thames and the Grand Union Canal. Passing through the estates of two of West London’s famous grand mansions of Syon House and Osterley House. Lunch at The Fox, Hanwell and tea at the Stables café in Osterley. Meet outside Richmond station at 10.30. Mobile on the day only: 07796 264 917.  Please welcome a new leader.

Saturday March 14                    Brighton to Hassocks.  Bus from Brighton to Patcham where the nine mile linear walk starts. We will pass the Chattri War Memorial. Pub lunch. Depart Victoria 9.02, Clapham Junction 9.07, arrive 10.37.

Saturday March 21                    Guildford circular. Eight miles via the Wey towpath and North Downs Way to the Watts Gallery (admission charge and lunch) to see works of G F Watts, celebrated Victorian painter and sculptor. Picnic in the garden or teashop. Then to Watts Chapel (free entry). Return to Guildford via Loseley Park. Depart Waterloo 9.30, arrive Guildford 10.03.

Saturday March 28                    Bourne End Circular. 9¼ miles via Ronald Wood, Wooburn Park, Bergher’s Hill, Wooburn Common, Hicknaham Farm to Lttleworth Common for lunch. Return along Beeches Way to Hedsor, Woolman’s Wood, Cookham and the Thames Path. Depart Paddington 8.57, Ealing Broadway 9.05, change Maidenhead for 9.38 train to arrive Bourne End at 9.49.

Sunday 29th March.        Circular from Godalming

About 11 miles at a moderate pace, with some hills, via Winkworth arboretum to Hambledon (pub lunch at the Merry Harriers) returning via Great Enton.

Depart Waterloo 9.00am, Clapham Junction 9.09, arriving at Godalming at 9.55.
