Saturday May 3              Bluebell Walk.  Goring circular, 10-11 miles. Lots of woodland and hopefully bluebells.  One hill at the end.  Lunch at The Red Lion, Woodcote.  Depart Paddington 8.57, Ealing Broadway 9.05, Reading 9.53, arrive Goring & Streatley 10.06.

Sunday May 4                Chalfont & Latimer circular. Easy walking on this 6 mile circular walk to celebrate Get Walking Week. Takes in the Chess valley and historic Chenies village where we stop for lunch. NB. Check Trains!

Wednesday May 7         Near circular walk from Hurst Green to Oxted (through bluebell woods). About 10 miles. Pub or picnic lunch near Staffhurst Wood. Some hills.  Depart Victoria 9.53,   Clapham Junction 9.58,  arrive Hurst Green 10.34.

Saturday May 10            Princes Risborough Circular. 9-10 miles. Morning via Lodge Hill to Chinnor for lunch, return via Bledlow. Depart Marylebone 9.09, arrive Princes Risborough 9.54.

Sunday May 11             Seaford Circular. 11 miles via Seaford Head with lunch at The Golden Galleon near Exeat Bridge. Hilly, moderate pace. Tea in Seaford at the end. Depart Victoria 8.47, change Lewes, arrive Seaford 10.14 and meet leader.  Check train times because of ongoing railway work.

Saturday May 17            Berwick circular via Milton Street (Sussex Ox for lunch) then Alfriston and Alciston.  Depart Victoria 9.47, Clapham Junction 9.53, change Lewes for 11.09, arrive Berwick 11.20.  Check train times because of ongoing railway work.

Sunday May 18              Azalea time in Isabella plantation. A circular walk  to Ham House (National Trust) then on to Richmond Park. Pub lunch/picnic around the Ham House area. Then to Isabella plantation to view the azaleas.  A fairly flat 6 mile walk with one hill in Richmond Park.  Ending at Don Fernando’s Spanish Tapas Restaurant for a glass of wine etc.  Mobile on the day only: 07751 957 380.  Meet at Richmond station ticket office at 11.00am.

Saturday May 24            Henley circular.  12½ miles via Remenham Hill, Aston, Mill End to Hambledon (lunch). Return via Lower Wood End Farm, Roundhouse Farm, Red Hill and Reservoir Hill to Greenlands and riverside back to Henley.   Depart Paddington 8.57, Ealing Broadway 9.05, change Twyford to arrive Henley 10.02.

Sunday May 25              Penshurst circular.  9 miles. Lunch at Chiddingstone (pub/picnic). Depart Victoria 9.32,  Clapham Junction 9.39, change Redhill 10.10, arrive Penshurst 10.32.

Sunday June 1                    Gerrard’s Cross circular. Tom’s favourite walk. Join him as he contemplates retirement after nearly 50 years in libraries! A circular walk to Hedgerley for lunch – about 7 miles easy walking. A lovely pub which may be crowded but the nearby churchyard offers a peaceful place to rest and enjoy a quiet sandwich! NB Do check train times!
